FlopTech Engineering Releases FlopCruncher 1.5

Kensington, California - July 27, 2009 - FlopTech Engineering has released FlopCruncher 1.5, an update to the original Texas Hold'em odds calculator widget for the Mac OS X Dashboard.

This update adds five more built-in hands to FlopCruncher's playback mode, adds an automatic new version detection feature, and improves the FlopTech news detection and alert feature. It is free for registered users, and new users can try FlopCruncher for free during its 30 day free trial period.

Kensington, California - June 26, 2009 - FlopTech Engineering has released FlopZoom 1.2, a major update to the powerful and flexible FlopZoom poker tracking and analysis package for Mac. This release features support for PokerStars, and provides PokerStars players with all the real-time statistics and analysis previously only available to Full Tilt players.

And, for the first time, FlopZoom now supports an international site: PokerStars.IT. Initial support for the Italian Version of PokerStars and also the Euro currency symbol has been added to FlopZoom 1.2.

Kensington, California - April 30, 2009 - FlopTech Engineering has released FlopZoom 1.1.3, an update to the powerful and flexible FlopZoom poker tracking and analysis package for Mac. This release supports the new Full Tilt file format used by the latest Full Tilt software. It is a required update for all users wishing to continue tracking their Full Tilt sessions. The Aggression Factor (AF) calculation has been modified for increased accuracy as well in FlopZoom 1.1.3. All other features remain unchanged, and are identical to those of FlopZoom 1.1.2.

Another new feature is a menu item in the HUD statistics menu for displaying the number of hands used to generate HUD statistics for each player.

The real time update interval (the frequency of new hand detection in live sessions) remains at 15 seconds by default, but a new 5 second interval has been added. Other improvements include expanded support for many more multi-table tournament types, increased accuracy in the ace-unsuited "expected frequency", and a revised preflop raise percentage (PRP) calculation formula.
